Strong and independent woman marries 5 men and files 498-a on all of them for maintanence

Bhopal , 12th August , 2017 :-  A very strange case has come to light in Bhopal,Madhya Pradesh . A man named Ramesh Choukse, after his wife's death , married a woman named Sandhya Verma , a resident of Chhindwara district , through matrimonial website on insistence of his family members and relatives .

Everything went fine till 3 months after which the woman's behaviour began to change . She used to go to her parent's home in Chhindwara and didn't return till 15 days. One day a man named Ashish Suryavanshi met Ramesh and claimed Sandhya to be his wife .
Sandhya was staying at her parent's house in Chhindwara at that time and when Ramesh asked her family members about this , she filed a dowry harrasement case against Ramesh and demanded alimony from him.

Ramesh then started collecting evidence against Sandhya in Chhindwara during which he came to know that she had already married 4 men without divorcing any of them and he was her 5th husband. She had filed dowry harrasement and alimony cases on all of them for maintainence just like she did to him.

However Ramesh presented all the evidences in court after which court issued an arrest warrant against Sandhya and also ordered the police to register a case against her under sec 494 of IPC.

It is a clear proof that men of this country and this patriarchal society is so afraid of women expressing their sexuality without being intimidated by them . We , the indian feminists strongly believe that empowered women like Sandhya should be encouraged rather than being arrested and oppressed....
